Russian party in Seoul

I got an e-mail from Russian Culture Centre in Seoul. They invite people to a party they gonna hold on Saturday, July 30. The entry fee is 20,000 Korean won. For that you get a table, one bottle of "Baltica" beer and you have a chance to win some prize in their lottery. For meals and more drinks you have to pay extra money. There will be some quiz games and live music from the same Russian band that performs on most Russian parties in Seoul.

I think the entry fee is a little bit high considering that you anyway gonna spend 20,000 ~ 30,000 on food and drinks in their restaurant. But anyway I will be there because I promised that to my friend who is a chief editor of one of Russian newspapers in Korea and co-organizer of this event.

The funny thing is that there are 3 places in Seoul that call themselves "Russian Centre". One is above mentioned RCCS. They have decent Russian Restaurant, library with Russian books, magazines, movies, Cds. Also they have Russian language courses for Koreans and Korean language courses for Russians. Other place is "Pushkin House". Actually that is Russian language school for Koreans but they also hold some cultural events sometimes and show Russian movies every evening for free. The third place is "Russian Center" near "Dongdaemun Stadium". Basically that is a very popular Russian store. They sell original things from Russia that you can't buy in Korean supermarkets. They have Russian food, drinks, books, magazines, video, DVD, CD and so on.

Anybody may come. But this is not a drink-and-dance party. This one will be held in a small Russian restaurant. You have your meal, drinks and listen to a live music. There also gonna be some quiz games and some kind of contests there. The problem is that everything will be in Russian so it maybe quite boring for you if you're not a Russian speaker.
